Tuolumne County Main Library
Members convene on the first Saturday of each month for our General Membership meeting. When the meeting includes a speaker, members of the public are encouraged to attend. Zoom information will be sent to members prior to the meeting.
The Wildfire Interest Group will meet on the first Monday of the month, February 5, 2024 at 4:30pm. This group is studying the impacts of wildfires in our region. All who are interested please join us. For more information, please contact Maria Benech.
Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chamber
League of Women Voters of the Mother Lode will be hosting candidates forums for Districts 1, 4, and 5 on Thursday, February 8, 2024. The event will take place at the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chambers. District 4 and District 5 candidates will be introduced and answer questions from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. District 1 candidates will be introduced and answer questions from 7:10pm to 8:10pm.
This will be an important meeting with the focus on the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Forum to b held on February 15th at the San Andreas Town Hall.
This meeting will be held at Patti Cherry‘s home, Zoom meetings on request. We meet from 1-3 p.m. This committee meets monthly to discuss membership involvement, satisfaction, growth and care. M.C. actively encourages involvement in our committee as a good way to get to know your own League more thoroughly.If you are at all curious by all means join us.
. Every third Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM join League members at Inner Sanctum Cellars for a sip or two of something good (wine, beer, soft drink) and good conversation about whatever you like. Just keep it civil! No reservations, no agenda, no charge (except for your drink choice)

Voter Services is a year-round activity to help citizens be politically effective and to encourage their participation in the political process. Registering voters and presenting factual, nonpartisan information on candidates and election issues are basic voter services activities, i.e., all election related projects, activities. Meeting are held the third Monday of each month at 1 p.m.
Voter Service Committee will be combining its regular meeting with the Candidate Forum Follow-up Meeting. As this is President‘s Day, a national holiday, the Senior Center is closed. Leslie Klay volunteered her house for the combined meeting.
Last day to register to vote for the 2024 Primary. Note: you can “conditionally” register and vote at your county elections office or vote center after the 15-day voter registration deadline.
